Edenswear products are made with TENCEL™, the most trusted brand that manufactures Lyocell from sustainable certified and controlled wood sources. To further boost the natural protection capability from the fabric, we have combined the zinc-oxide infused Lyocell called Smartcel™ Sensitive with TENCEL™.
Most of our products consist of 17-19% Smartcel™ Sensitive and 75% TENCEL™, a ratio proven to best reduce and control eczema redness and irritation.
To ensure the benefit of zinc-oxide remains effective after many washings, the lyocell fibers are embedded with medical grade zinc oxide through a patented process where zinc powder is added to the natural wood pulp before it gets spun into lyocell. The zinc physically becomes part of the fabric, which does not come off the clothing and is safe to use, including newborns and babies.
There is no mineral like zinc that can benefit our health. Zinc is like a 24-hour, on-call skin mechanic – helping to repair damaged tissues, reduce inflammation and heal wounds. Zinc helps keep our immune system strong and has a positive effect on regular cell growth and regeneration. Zinc-oxide powder that is used by Edenswear is actually an active ingredient in calamine, which is used in many anti-itch soothing calamine
The Right Features
Gentle on skin
Measurements and hand evaluations of softness show that TENCEL™ Modal fibers are twice as soft as cotton. The softness of TENCEL™ Modal fibers lasts longer and is able to withstand repeated wash and dry cycles compared to cotton.
TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers absorb moisture efficiently. In comparison to polyester and synthetics, there is less available moisture formed on the surface of the fiber for bacteria to grow. Consequently, TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers provide a less favorable environment for bacterial growth, offering better hygienic qualities to fabrics.
Dermatologists noted rapid improvement of eczema severity, less redness and itching and improved sleep quality after using TENCEL™ clothing embedded with Smartcel™ Sensitive
TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers naturally manage the transportation of moisture, enhancing fabrics by keeping your skin feeling pleasantly comfortable. Composed of natural material, the microscopic fibrils of cellulosic fibers are structured to regulate the absorption and release of moisture. This contributes to breathable fabrics that support the body’s natural temperature regulating properties, creating a refreshingly cooling sensation on your skin.
