To maintain the effectiveness of zinc oxide even after multiple washings, TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers are infused with medical-grade zinc oxide through a patented process.
In this method, zinc powder is integrated into natural wood pulp before it is spun into lyocell. This ensures that the zinc becomes an integral part of the fabric, remaining embedded in the clothing and not washing out.
This method of zinc-oxide treatment is safe for use on all skin types, including those of newborns and babies.
